The C Group is a New York hospitality collective behind The Consulate (Upper West Side & Midtown) and The C coffee & wine. Across every address we share one idea: create welcoming neighborhood spaces where guests can gather, connect, and savor simple pleasures morning espresso, long lunches, pre-theater bites, late suppers, and a glass of something memorable.
Timeline
October 2019 - The Consulate, Upper West Side (UWS) Our first home on Columbus Ave, blending French inspiration with New American creativity. An all-day brasserie spirit, seasonal plates, classic cocktails, a considered wine list and service that feels personal.
March 2023 - The Consulate, Midtown A second dining room in the heart of Manhattan, steps from Fifth Avenue. The same neighborhood warmth, now ideal for business lunches, pre-theater dining, and evening gatherings in the center of the city.
2025 - The C (Coffee & Wine) In the West Village, The C brings the charm of a Parisian café to a modern New York block espresso and pastries by day, curated wines, charcuterie and conversation by night. An intimate counter for regulars and a cozy landing spot for the neighborhood.
